GRADE SCHOOLER CAMPAIGNS TO SAVE CAMELS
Adults should be ashamed at what they do. A grade schooler is working very hard to save camels killed through reckless ways of disposing trash.In Abu Dhabi, an 11 year old boy is holding a photo exhibit in order to increase people's awareness regarding the effect of irresponsible trash disposal. Oliver Cameroon of the Raha International School will present his masterpieces on April 6~11 in his school's exhibit.
He started his campaign shortly after reading an article that non biodegradable plastic bags that are being carelessly thrown in the dessert is being eaten by wild animals causing their eventual death from suffocation.
"My hope is that people will see littering in the desert kills animals. We need these animals and we rely on them. Three hundred camels dies each year because of littering," Cameron said.
