UK: 1/6 OF SCHOOLS VIOLATE ADMISSION RULES

"A survey of 570 state schools has shown one in six breach strict admission rules, Children's Secretary Ed Balls said yesterday."
Putting up a school is a good business when done properly. Just like any business, a school as an enterprise, is not just about raising intelligent people and responsible citizens. It largely is about money. Without profit, the school, just like any other business, will close. To make matters worse, it's all about the money for some schools in some countries.

The attached article talks about schools asking for a fixed amount of donation. To me, it sounds very much like a fee or putting it differently, a required donation. If you are a parent enrolling a kid, will you comfortably decline, most specially if your kid is having school troubles?
